Welcome to Casaka Stables
The premier horse boarding facility in Chiang Mai, Thailand - Casaka Stables is a world class private equestrian facility with an emphasis on dressage and show jumping. The 18 Rai property features 3 stables, an indoor and an outdoor arena, a lunging pen and 4 paddocks. The facility employs 4 grooms, 4 cleaners and a stable manager all of which is overseen by the owner, Carolyn McCarthy, who is passionate about horses and rides dressage.
The facilities and horses at Casaka Stables are maintained to the highest standard. With its mild climate, Chiang Mai is the perfect spot for the competing or pleasure rider. Casaka Stables is also an ideal facility for retirement horses or horses who require rest and rehabilitation.

I spent the first part of my life riding to hounds in and around Middleburg, Virginia, and in Gloucestershire. I also raced over fences (non-professionally) and had several show jumpers. In my 24 years in Thailand I’ve never seen such an immaculately run stable. It’s very similar to the horse operations/estates in Wellington, Florida.
